BYC Tannourine Hiking & Meditation In Nature

Beloved Souls,

This time, Beirut Yoga Center invites you to another beautiful place to explore, hike, meditate and do breathing in nature. We will discover together another amazing green area,Tannourine.

We will arrive to Tannourine el Tahta for original Saj Manakish breakfast. Then we start the hike gliding up the serene route of “Al Fars trail”. Al Fars trail is an old route which used to connect Tannourine to the other villages down to el Koura and Batroun. It still as it was, untouched. we will begin the hike along the river side and make our way through to the trail. The landscape is sublime, every single meter, the details change, The eye is intrigued, the mind is amused and the soul is rested.

We reach Bassa, and its old Deir which lies upon a hill. from which you see sahl el koura underneath you. There we can make a stop in the pine trees forest. We do Pranayama and meditation then make our way down to Tannourine, Then a small walk to qahwit el deir, at the opposite side of the village, above the river for lunch.

Aiding tips:

1- It’s a moderate 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours hike so come for sure with hiking shoes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle and camera for the amazing landscape.
2- Maybe a small towel for those who would like to chill their feet in the creek water or wash their hands and face and refresh their skin with natural spring cool water :).
3- come with a smile. Big one :)))) and lightheartedness & much Luvvvv ♥

contribution: $20 including all round trip Bus transportation, and the Manakish Breakfast as much as you can Fill up :), but not the Lunch.

Departure by Bus from Beirut Yoga Center, gathering at 7:45 am SHARP in front of Semsom restaurant. Please don’t be late we will have to catch the evening yoga at BYC 6:45 pm 🙂
